  • Mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, PBL and Google? PBL is gaining (or regaining) popularity in the classroom - and for good reason. PBL promotes critical thinking, communication and collaboration, all of which are key skills that students must have as they become the leaders of tomorrow. So if you're ready to implement PBL in your classroom, and you're looking to learn how to bring it all together, from start to finish, you'll definitely want to come take a look at how Google's productivity and collaboration tools can help you and your students succeed in all phases of the PBL process. Specifically, we will investigate how key elements of PBL, such as research, collaboration, gathering (and analyzing) feedback and presenting the knowledge, can all be accomplished with Google's free tools.

Throughout the program, participants will learn key strategies for improving workflow between teachers and students, ways to increase efficiency with classroom management tasks, and various methods to improve communication beyond the classroom. Whether you're in a 1:1 environment with students or you'd like to increase collaboration among colleagues, these courses will provide you with everything you need to know to get up-and-running for the 2014-15 school year. Upon completion, participants will have gained the essential knowledge and skills to become certified Google Educators*.

*Participation in Teq's Google Educator preparation program does not guarantee recognition as a Google Educator. In order to become certified as an official Google Educator, participants must register with Google and pass a series of five (5) online tests.
