  • This session of Microsoft Office on the Surface starts the string of sessions focused on Powerpoint, and focuses on the features of Powerpoint unique to the use of document templates. Powerpoint provides a wide variety of template documents that can streamline a teacher’s workflow when creating lessons, games, and projects, as well as a variety of tools for creating your own template for documents such as student projects. During the session we will focus on opening, using, and storing these new templates quickly and easily. We will also discuss how to use tools such as themes, layouts, and the traits of content boxes to create your own custom templates that can be saved and distributed for students to use.
