In session 5 of our Microsoft Digital Teacher Certification Series our Curriculum Specialists will share with you a powerful part of the Office 365 Suite, Delve. Microsoft Delve is a application that allows you to discover new content and connect with people at work. Delve has an interesting way of discovering this content by making use of documents created by the community of Office 365 users. All content that is made publicly available by individuals could show up on your Delve homepage as suggestions, or be searched by boards and keywords. With this tool teachers can better communicate and share ideas.

Teq DTC: Microsoft Office 365 Session 3- Planner and Outlook

Session 3 of our Microsoft Digital Teacher Certification focuses on creating a project timeline, increasing communication, and organizing meetings with the use of Microsoft Planner and Outlook. Within Planner, we will guide you through the process of assigning and organizing tasks to keep track of progress and assign jobs to keep responsibilities clear. Using Outlook, we’ll view group member availability, create meeting appointments while finding appropriate locations and times, as well as give you some beneficial tips and tricks for staying connected through emails.

Join us for our second session as we take a look at some tools to help you with the next step of the project creation process, brainstorming and collecting information with the use of Microsoft OneNote and OneDrive. OneNote is a fantastic collaboration tool to gather information in free form by allowing typed and written annotations, and the insertion of pictures, drawings, and audio commentaries. OneDrive allows you to store your files on the web and gives you the ability to sync and share them with others. You can easily access all your files with an internet connection from anywhere, at any time, on any device.

Our fourteenth session of the Google Educator Basics Certification is where we will begin to focus on the student functionality and usability of the Google apps. In session thirteen we will explore the ways to share your students work with the community, more specifically using Sites. Our focus for session 8 is to explore various ways to use Google tools to push out individualized, interactive activities to students.  Expanding the capability of things like Slides, YouTube videos, and Google Forms helps to enhance the learning experiences you can offer to students.  We will take a look at a number of sample lessons that can be distributed to help students take ownership over their learning and provide information for the teacher about student understanding.

Google Educator Certification: Advanced - Session 7

In session 7 of our Google Educators Advanced Certification, we will take a look at various learning models that can help transform the classroom, allow the teacher to become a facilitator of learning, and provide a way to differentiate instruction for a unique learning experience.  We will focus on methods like PBL, Blended Learning, and the Flipped Classroom to help achieve these goals.  We will also share multiple resources that can help make these models a well-developed success for the classroom.

Google Educator Certification: Advanced - Session 6

Session 6 of the certification will focus on advanced features of Google Sheets and various add-ons that can help teachers visualize and analyze the results of student data.  We will take a look at concepts like conditional formatting, creating advanced tables, and using advanced formulas to get the most out of a data set in Google Sheets.  We will also feature Flubaroo and SuperQuiz - add-ons for Sheets that can transform the process of data collection and examination.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 9: Mobile Assessment (Elective)

This course is an elective for the Digital Teacher iPad Certification. Throughout this course we will examine apps that can be used for various forms of mobile assessment with the iPad. Come learn how apps like Socrative and Nearpod can be used to engage students and provide teachers with data about student progress.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 8: iMovie

With this course, participants will be able to create digital stories, videos, trailers, and expand their knowledge of these techniques for use with various curriculum connections.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 7: iPhoto

With this course, participants will be able to add and organize content to iPhoto and collaborate with others through a shared Photostream.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 6: Keynote

With this course, participants will learn how to create engaging Keynote presentations using the vast features of the software. We will review teacher-centered and student-centered activities to help increase its usability in the classroom.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 5: Numbers

With this course, participants will be able to successfully create spreadsheets for teacher or student based interaction. We will streamline the way teachers and students can collect and analyze data by creating charts, graphs, and tables in the context of a lesson.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 4: Pages

With this course, participants will be able to use basic and advanced features of Pages across devices to enhance documents and presentations. We will also review how to enhance workflow with sharing and publishing techniques.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 3: Apptastic

With this course, participants will be able to successfully use iPad apps in conjunction with one another to create a project based learning activity. Throughout this session, we will demonstrate a complete activity and the use of multiple apps to perform various functions such as driving research, gathering data, and creating presentations.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 2: Learning with the iPad

In this course, teachers will be able to use the iPad as a teacher-centered technology with a single iPad in the teacher's hands. We will then extend the experience into whole-class instruction with student access to the iPads for various instructional activities.

Digital Teacher iPad Certification 1: Settings and Features

With this course, participants will be able to successfully introduce and implement iPads with their classes. Classroom management, basic functions, and various organizational techniques will help achieve success when introducing iPads in a classroom environment.
