Admin G Suite - Part 2

Join us for our second session of our G Suite Admin Series! Our first session covered how to manage users, enable and disable services, and create groups to more efficiently manage daily communication. This session will dive deeper into the capabilities of the Admin Panel and go over configuring security settings, managing devices, and getting support! This course can be viewed in conjunction with Teq's Digital Teacher Certification Google Educator Basics program which covers the use of all things Google, including Google Chrome, Gmail, Calendars, Drive, Sites, Forms and more!

This session is designed for school administrators, instructional technology specialists, or anyone interested in learning how to manage their school or district's G Suite for Admin domain. Using our training domain, we'll explore how to manage users, enable and disable services, and create groups to more efficiently manage daily communication. Technology to Support the Danielson Framework - Domain 4

Teachers face countless choices  daily when it comes to their students, lesson planning, parent interaction, and the environment of where learning takes place. With a profession as challenging as teaching, self reflection is beneficial for teachers as it presents opportunities for growth. Thinking about what works, and why it works as well as what didn't work and why it didn't work plays an integral role in the development of becoming a better teacher and role model for students. Join our curriculum specialists as we go through strategies for reflecting on teaching, maintaining accurate records, communicating with families, participating in the professional community, growing and developing professionally, and showing professionalism all while creating engaging lessons for our students and keeping students informed, motivated, and improving performance. As the final session of our  "Technology to Support the Danielson Framework" series comes to a close, we will help support you as you juggle the many responsibilities assigned to you.

Technology to Support the Danielson Framework - Domain 3

Our Curriculum Specialists will guide you through a variety of resources and technology to support Domain 3 of the Danielson Framework, Instruction, where their focus will be to provide strategies for improving your communication with students, introduce different techniques for questioning and discussion, and enhance your flexibility and responsiveness during any type of lesson. Here in Domain 3, teachers execute the plans that they previously created in Domain 1: Planning and Preparation. This domain is considered the "heart" of teaching and we are more than excited to support your passion for instruction as we boost students' passion for learning!

Technology to Support the Danielson Framework - Domain 2

Join our Curriculum Specialists as we explore a variety of resources and technology to support Domain 2 of the Danielson Framework, focusing our attention on your efforts in creating an exceptional "Classroom Environment." Priorities for establishing a classroom environment full of respect and rapport, a culture for learning, and organizing the physical space include the teacher's ability to create an atmosphere for students that is not only safe and comfortable, but gives all students the feeling of success. Teachers and students begin to work together to establish routines, behavior management strategies, and every-day procedures that work while constructing a caring and warm space, fostering a professional learning setting for all parties involved  As a result, there is mutual respect, understanding, and ultimate success for both teachers and students. 

Technology to Support the Danielson Framework - Domain 1

In this first of four-session series, we'll explore how you can best incorporate technology resources to demonstrate your effectiveness of various components of Domain 1 of The Danielson Framework. The Danielson Framework is a constructivist set of instructional components aimed at helping teachers in four domains: Planning and Preparation, Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities. From demonstrating knowledge of resources, content and pedagogy, to designing student assessments, our curriculum specialists will guide you through their favorites websites, platforms, and software programs for Planning and Preparation!

Administering SMART amp

Did you just obtain SMART amp at your school, and you want to know how to get started? Learn about how to use SMART amp from the very beginning, and discover how to successfully introduce it into your school community. Learn how to create and manage student and teacher accounts with your Google Apps for Education account, and lead your teachers to success. 
 

Administrator Track: Assessment and Student Data

Discover a variety of assessment tools that will help guide effective evaluation procedures in this final course of our administrator track. Whether looking to enhance formative or summative assessment in the classroom, we will share a number of resources and helpful techniques that will assist in receiving valuable date to help guide future instruction.

Administrator Track: Designing and Building Engaging Learning Environments

Join us in the second part of this administrator track where we focus on key elements of an engaging learning environment. Take a closer look at how teachers can use the tools available to them, along with additional resources to make the most of their learning environment. Assist teachers in creating an engaging and interactive learning space with some of the techniques shared by our PD staff.

Administrator Track: Identifying Effective Technology Use

In this first course of our sessions dedicated to administrators, we will focus in on how to identify whether the technology you have invested in is being used to its utmost potential. Whether you are working with interactive whiteboards, iPads, Chromebooks, or tablets, this course will help administrators and their teachers make the most out of the available resources.

Administering Chrome Devices

Once you have set up your Google Apps for Education account, the next step is to set up the devices you have available at your school in order to maximize the effectiveness of teacher and student experience. Join us for Administering Chrome Devices where we review how to enroll Chromebooks, and answer questions about the mobile devices you may have available. We will also discuss setting apps and extensions for use across your domain and show how to review reports for your account. Come gain key knowledge to successfully deploy Chrome devices in your school!
