Morning Meeting is a fun and engaging way to start the day, build a sense of comradery, and sets your students up for success. Join us as we look at some great activities to use with your SMART Notebook software and other great resources. We will be checking out different ways to take attendance, talk about the weather, do the calendar, look at the schedule for the day and more!

Early Childhood Learning with SMART Notebook

Join our Curriculum Specialists as we help to build your students' knowledge of colors, shapes, letters, and sounds using the SMART Learning Suite. We'll also take a look how you can incorporate objects, numbers, and counting techniques into your SMART Notebook software to enhance the skills of your young learner .Preschoolers and young students are excited about learning and SMART Learning Suite's robust features can be used to seamlessly create interactive, engaging, and motivating lessons so that their love of learning only continues to grow as they do. After this session, you'll be able to take away a multitude of new found skills to generate activities for your Pre-K to K students as they develop social and academic skills.

Using the SMART Board for Early Childhood Literacy

In this session, we will look at how literacy teachers can inspire and motivate students using online resources and technology through the SMART Board. We'll take a look at some tips and tricks you can use to make decoding and phonics simpler for your students. We will explore different online resources in order to create lessons and then dive into the SMART Notebook software to explore various features you have access to in order to build custom activities with your students such as the gallery and SMART Speller. By the end of this session, you will come away with multiple skills to begin generating differentiated multimedia lessons for whole class instruction and center use.

Discover how the interactive whiteboard can facilitate classroom routines and transitions, while improving your knowledge of the IWB software. You'll learn how to create various templates, including job charts, attendance activities, lunch counts, and circle-time games and songs for the elementary classroom.
