In this course we'll look at just one of the many applications of a Labdisc in the Chemistry classroom. You can use any Labdisc to perform this activity. Our Curriculum Specialists will show you how to conduct an experiment to identify temperature's influence on a substance's solubility using the temperature probe provided with your Labdisc. They will then show you how to analyze and manipulate the data within the Globilab software as well as extensions you could bring to your classroom!

There's more value in Dungeons and Dragons than you may know. Yes, Dungeons and Dragons. While attending PAX East 2017 we were enlightened by a panel discussion ran by the founders of Wheelhouse Workshop, a social skills group based in Seattle, WA. Wheelhouse Workshop has been helping teens and adolescents build social skills with role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons for a few years now and they are seeing positive outcomes. Our fourteenth session of the Google Educator Basics Certification is where we will begin to focus on the student functionality and usability of the Google apps. The student is expected to: (A)  evaluate the credibility of informational sources and their relevance for assigned and self-selected topics) and help your students avoid citing hoax websites, dodge pitfalls in the research process, and discern fact from fiction.
